As a top hairdresser for Saks 5th Avenue in Manhattan and, later, Artistic Director for Bergdorf Goodman New York Salons, Don was fortunate enough to be at the forefront of beauty and fashion from early on in my career. He toured North America as a platform artist, and made regular television appearances on national programs such as Good Morning America.
Don stepped out of the corporate world and into his dream when opened a multi-location salon group that rapidly became the market leader in Ohio, generating millions of dollars in revenue. His salon was recognized as one of the Top 5 retailing salons worldwide by a well-known manufacturer partner! It was during this crazy, exponential growth that we learned the importance of salon systems, the value of great local distributor support and the importance of aligning yourself with a manufacturer that could provide creative vision and resources for ongoing salon growth.
The road to success is full of obstacles, and we watched as many independent businesses closed or were swallowed up by larger, more powerful, corporatized companies. The missing piece became clear – someone needed to step up to keep the heart and soul of the salon industry alive. It was time to focus on giving back to an industry that had given so much to us; to create a company that would stay loyal to the professional beauty community, focusing first and foremost on serving the needs of the salon and stylist, and helping them to achieve their goals. So, with this goal in mind, in 1997 Eufora International was born.
More than a decade later, we continue to challenge the traditional manufacturer approach to professional products and education with our people and planet friendly philosophy. We constantly strive to find better solutions for hair, and the best solutions for hairdressers.

A 30-year veteran of the salon professional industry, Don Bewley is one of the few hairdresser/owners of a salon professional corporation today. Don founded Eufora International with his wife, Beth, just over 10 years ago with the mission and vision of serving independent salons. Don’s career began in New York City where he
trained with the industry’s best and learned to become a talented stylist. He went on to own multiple profitable salon locations and was recognized as one of the top
5 retailing salons in North America. Frustrated by dwindling lack of commitment from professional hair care manufacturers and widespread diversion of salon
professional products, Don decided to create a solution to the problem. “Hairdressers built this industry and they deserve to reap the rewards”, says Don, “I believe in the power and talent of my peers, and as a proud hairdresser myself, I know that greater success is possible through the right education and a committed manufacturer who is dedicated to more than just selling products.”
